Children's Clothing Turnabout

Consignment Instructions

  • Last day to print tags is Monday, October 2
  • All tags must be attached to the items BEFORE bringing them to the church on Wednesday night.
  • You may purchase the plastic string attachment gun for attaching your tags. The tags must be safety pinned, taped or plastic stringed to the clothing or taped to toys and baby equipment. DO NOT TAPE OVER BARCODE.
  • Multi-pieced items must be securely attached with the number of pieces indicated on the ONE tag.

1. $10.00 consignment fee will be deducted from your profits at the end of the sale.

Pick up money is on Tuesday, October 17th from 10:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. at the church office. If you are unable to pick up your check that day you may pick it up between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the church office any weekday (Monday thru' Friday) after that date. If you cannot pick up your check, please provide a stamped addressed envelope and we willl mail it to you.

MISSIONS:  Saturday, October 7 - All items left will be packed up for missions at 2:30 p.m. SHARP.

3. INFORMATION YOU NEED TO KNOW:     

PROFIT SHARING:                                                                                                                                                                              

Consignor will receive 67% of the sales total of their items.                                                                                                                  

Elam will receive the remaining 33% plus $10.00 consignment fee.  

ITEMS TO BE CONSIGNED:                                                                                                                                             

Fall/Winter children's clothing sizes newborn to junior size 15. Due to limited space absolutely NO adult and Spring/Summer clothing. We ask that you be highly selective.

Toys and baby equipment.   All baby equipment must be clean, have all parts, and be in good working order. Check recalls at http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prerel.html.   

NO CAR SEATS OR MATTRESSES PLEASE:

Children's shoes must be new or nearly new.                                                                                                                            

Operating items and games must have all parts and be in working condition. Please tape all game boxes closed. Only children's DVD's or CD's. NO adult movies, books or music will be accepted.

Jewelry will be located at sales desk.

DO NOT BRING:                                                                                                                                                                                  

Stained or wornout clothing will be removed and placed in a marked bin.                                                                                 

No adult clothing and no children's old or wornout shoes - these will be removed from the sales floor.

PRICING:                                                                                                                                                                                             

$1.00 is the lowest price. Nothing can be marked less than $1.00. Must be in .50¢ increments, i.e. $1,00, $1.50, $2.00, $2.50. Please mark  through registration website if you do not want your items half-priced on Saturday.

CONSIGNOR RESPONSIBILITY:  

  • Wednesday evening arrive and check-in between 5:00-7:00 p.m. - Consignors are responsible to distribute their own items around sales floor. Do not drop items at the church. The pre-shopping for volunteers will start by 7:15 p.m.
  • Sign in at checkout tables and sign form.                                                                                                                            
  • Form states we are not responsible for missing or lost items. All items in building after 2:30 p.m. on Saturday go to missions.
  • Pick up unsold items on Saturday between 12:30-2:30 p.m. Bring I.D. for pickup.
  • Items that are not picked up and removed on Saturday by 2:30 p.m. sharp will be given to missions. No exceptions.
  • If you cannot pick up your items on Saturday, please arrange for a friend to pick them

‚Äč WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MISSING OR LOST ITEMS.   

If you find a sales ticket on the floor, please bring it to the checkout table. If you would like to purchase an item without a tag, please bring it to the checkout table. We will try to match a missing tag with the item or we will price the item to sell.

If you have any shopping bags or LARGE plastic shopping bags you would like to donate to the Turnabout, please bring them with you and drop them off at the checkout table.

Volunteers are needed! Pre-shopping is on Wednesday evening from 7:15-9:30 p.m. for anyone volunteering 2 hours Thursday, Friday or Saturday during Turnabout. We need more volunteers Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings and especially Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Sign up when you pick up your packet. IF YOU HAVE A VAN OR A TRUCK THAT YOU WOULD BE WILLING TO USE TO HELP MAKE LOCAL DELIVERIES OF THE LEFTOVER CLOTHING THAT WOULD BE EXTREMELY HELPFUL.
