Mosaic Sunday
April 28th is our next Mosaic Sunday. Extra hands are needed to help prepare meals for Caring for Friends, make cards for our card ministry and for Kits for Kids assembly. All activities will occur immediately following our Sunday service that morning. Light refreshments will be available to grab and go.
New Adult Sunday School Study
Did you know that Elam has an adult Sunday School class? We meet every week in the Blest Sunday School room (turn right after the office door across from the music room) from 8:15-9:15 am where we share a time of prayer, fellowship, coffee, and a weekly lesson. On April 21st, we will be starting a new study from Max Lucado called Help is Here! Please join us for this exciting new study on the Holy Spirit - all are welcome and if you have to leave early or arrive late, we don't mind. We will watch a short video by Max one week and have thought provoking discussion questions the following week. If you have any questions, please reach out to Jackie Brandt at jackie_brandt@live.com,. We hope to see you soon!
Caring for Friends - April 28th
Our next Mosaic Sunday will be on April 28th. As a reminder, one of the activities conducted is to prepare meal trays for Caring for Friends. I am requesting participation from the congregation as many hands will make light work to make these meals quickly and efficiently. In 2023 Elam made 537 meals and soups that were taken to St Katherine’s Drexel Parish Food Pantry in Chester to be distributed. On average, we make about 60 meals on Mosaic Sunday and the balance of meals are made by individual groups and our congregation. Thank you and see you on the 28th. Jean Ferrarelli

Lenten Project - Kits for Kids
Thank you for all of the wonderful participation. It is time to "gather in the red bags". Whether empty, partially completed or completed, please return every bag. We will assess items needed to complete the bags. Then on Mosaic Sunday, April 28 we will complete all the bags in preparation for delivery. We MUST account for all of the bags purchased from the parent company, Project C.U.R.E.
