Children’s Fall Clothing Turnabout

Please Read Consignment Instructions Below

All consignors must register and login through Elam’s website (www.elamumc.org). Go to Info Center, then click on Children’s Clothing Turnabout and follow the link provided. You are permitted to bookmark this site, but it is only good for this Spring 2020 season.

Last day print tags is 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24

  • If transferring items tagged from a previous sale you must go into "Manage tags" and move each tag item to the current sales inventory.
  • You may purchase the plastic string attachment gun for attaching your tags. The tags must be safety pinned, taped or plastic stringed to the clothing or taped to toys and baby equipment. DO NOT TAPE OVER BARCODE. Be careful not to poke a hole through the garment with gun. Books, if  placing tag on back of books please, cover manufacturer UPC code.
  • Multi-pieced items must be securely attached with the number of pieces indicated on the ONE tag.

1. $10.00 Consignment fee will be deducted from your profits at the end of the sale.

MISSIONS: Saturday, March 28 – All items left in building will be packed up for missions at 2:30 p.m. SHARP – NO EXCEPTIONS.

Pick up money is on Tuesday, April 7, from 10:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. at the church office. If you are unable to pick up your check that day you may pick it up between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the church office any weekday (Monday thru’ Friday) after that date. If you cannot pick up your check, please provide a stamped addressed envelope and we will mail it to you. After six weeks all monies not picked up are considered a donation to the church.

3.  INFORMATION YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Be sure to check your junk email for updates through our webserver.

PROFIT SHARING:

Consignor will receive 67% of the sales total of their items.

Elam will receive the remaining 33% plus $10.00 consignment fee.

We will not pay out on items we are not sure were sold.

PRINTING TAGS: Only one login number per person. Each number will be charged the $10 consignment fee. If you have a problem printing tags, please call the church office at 610-459-2911. Tags will default to Donate: YES and Discount: YES for 50% off sale. You may manually change this option to NO. Pricing begins at $1 and goes up in $1 increments. Do not make changes by handwriting on the tag. Description is optional. Pastel colors are fine to use. Cardstock should be used. You may highlight on tags, but not on the barcode. DO NOT PHOTOCOPY TAGS. Chrome and Mozilla Firefox work best. Internet Explorer/Microsoft will not work.

ITEMS TO BE CONSIGNED: Spring/Summer children’s clothing sizes newborn to junior size 15.  Due to limited space absolutely NO adult and Fall/Winter clothing.  We are asking that you be highly selective.

Toys and baby equipment.  All baby equipment must be clean, have all parts, and be in good working order. Dirty or incomplete equipment will be removed from sales floor. If any item is returned broken or incomplete the monies will be deducted from your total. NO CAR SEATS OR MATTRESSES PLEASE!

Children’s shoes – must be new or nearly new.

Operating items and games – must have all parts and be in working condition. Please tape all game boxes closed. If any item is returned for missing parts or not working the monies will be deducted from your total. Only children’s DVD’s or CD’s. NO adult movies, books or music will be accepted.

Jewelry will be located at the sales desk.

DO NOT BRING:

Stained or damaged clothing will be removed and placed in a marked bin.

No adult clothing and no children’s old or wornout shoes – these will be removed from the sales floor.

CONSIGNOR RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Wednesday evening arrive and sign check-in forms between 5:00-7:00 p.m. – Consignors are responsible to distribute their own items around the sales floor.  Do not drop items at the church. The pre-shopping for volunteers signing up to work 2 hours on Thursday, Friday or Saturday will start by 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
  • Sign in at checkout tables and sign form                                                                              
  • Form states we are not responsible for missing or lost items. All items in building after 2:30 p.m. on Saturday go to missions.
  • Pick up unsold items on Saturday between 12:30-2:30 p.m. Bring I.D. for pickup. 
  • Clear bags will be provided for pickup of your items. No bags, boxes, or closed containers from outside are to be brought in. Children must remain with their parents at all times for their safety. You are permitted to bring a clear container or open laundry basket. 
  • Consignor responsible to check their sold list online. If you do not find any item, please ask for help. Do not leave and contact us later to let us know you could not find an item.
  • Items that are not picked up and removed on Saturday by 2:30 p.m. sharp will be given to missions. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • If you cannot pick up your items on Saturday, please arrange for a friend to pick them up.

We are not responsible for missing or lost items.

If you find a sales ticket on the floor, please bring it to the checkout table. If you would like to purchase an item without a tag, please bring it to the checkout table. We will try to match a missing consignor tag with the item, try to look up item by description on website or we will price the item to sell. Money will be donated to Elam.

*Volunteers are needed! Pre-shopping is on Wednesday evening from 7:00-9:00 p.m. for anyone volunteering 2 hours Thursday, Friday or Saturday during Turnabout.  We need more volunteers Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings and especially Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
