Elam UMC Children’s Spring Clothing Turnabout

Consignment Instructions Below

  1. All consignors must register and login through Elam’s website (www.elamumc.org).
  2. Go to Info. Center,
  3. Click on Children’s Clothing Turnabout.

 

Click Here to Register & Login  - This link will take you directly to the consignor sign-up page on Elam’s website.

 

  • RETURNING consignor, please click Sign-In to Access Event
    • Enter User ID and password
  • If you are a NEW consignor, please click on Create Account
    • Create a User ID and password
    • Enter Personal Information
    • Complete the Terms and Conditions section and click Create Account.

 

Important Reminders

  • If transferring tagged items from a previous Elam sale, go to Manage Tags and move each item to the current inventory.
  • Tags must be safety pinned, taped, or attached with plastic string (no taping over the barcode). You may also purchase the plastic string attachment gun to attach your tags (available at Staples or online).  Please be careful not to poke a hole through the garment with the string gun.
  • Multi-piece items must be securely attached with the number of pieces indicated on ONE tag.
  • Tag Printing Deadline: Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.

 

Consignment Fee

A $12.00 consignment fee will be deducted from your profits at the end of the sale.

  • Half-Price Sale: Saturday morning only if the item is marked "Discount: YES".
  • Mission Donations: Items left after 2:30 p.m. on Saturday will be donated (NO EXCEPTIONS).
     

 

Payment & Profit Sharing

  • Pick up money: Tuesday, May 12, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the church office or after that date, stop by the church office any weekday between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.
  • If unable to pick up, you may send a stamped addressed envelope for mailing
  • Unclaimed money after six weeks is considered a donation to Elam.
  • Consignors receive 60% of sales, Elam receives 40% plus the $12 fee.

Tagging & Pricing Guidelines

  • Use one login number per person (each login incurs a $12 fee).
  • Tags default to Donate: YES, and Discount: YES, for the 50% off sale. You can manually change these settings to NO.
  • Prices start at $1 and increase in $1 increments. DO NOT make changes to tags by writing on the tag.
  • Use cardstock for tags, DO NOT photocopy TAGS.
  • Chrome & Mozilla Firefox work best; avoid Internet Explorer.

Items Accepted

  • Fall/Winter children's clothing (newborn to junior size 15)
  • Toys & baby equipment (must be clean, complete, and in working order) Check recalls at https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls
  • Children’s shoes (new or nearly new)
  • Games & DVDs/CDs (children’s only, all parts included, and boxes taped closed)
  • If items are returned for missing pieces or due to not working, monies will be deducted from consignor total.
  • Jewelry (sold at the sales desk)

Items Not Accepted

  • Adult clothing or Fall/Winter clothes
  • Car seats & mattresses
  • Stained or damaged clothing
  • Old/worn-out shoes
  • Adult movies, books, or music
     

Consignor Responsibilities

  • Arrive Thursday 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. to sign in and distribute your items to the sales floor.
  • Sign in and acknowledge the no responsibility for lost/missing items policy.
  • Pre-shopping for volunteers signing up to work 2 hours on Friday or Saturday will start by 7:15 pm on Thursday evening.
  • Pick up unsold items Saturday 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. (bring ID for pick-up).
  • Items not collected by 2:30 p.m. on Saturday will be donated.

Payment Options

  • CASH discount for those paying in cash payments
  • We offer credit card payments with a 3.5% transaction fee paid by the customer at time of purchase. 
  • No checks accepted

Volunteer & Pre-Shopping Benefits

  • Pre-shopping Thursday 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. for volunteers who work 2 hours Friday or Saturday.
  • Volunteers are especially needed on Friday & Saturday, and Saturday at 2:30 p.m. for clean-up.
  • No volunteers needed on Thursday night.
