The Midday Circle of Friends is over 25 years old and continues doing a variety of things from Sept.- May, usually the last Thursday of the month.
Our mission work includes:
- from filling shoeboxes with items for children far and near
- assembling meals for Caring for Friends
- filling Blessing Bags for Loaves of Love for distribution to the homeless
- making tie blankets for children
- singing at the Methodist Home up on City Line, etc.
On a yearly bases, our activities would include:
- a book review with lunch, of course
- attend a show at the Media Theater or in Lancaster
In the summer, we sponsor a donation drive for one of the nearby charities such as Sunday Breakfast Mission, Safe Harbor in West Chester or Loaves of Love, You may find us attending a tea or doing a bible study, too.
